Scream Africa is an orphanage that cares for boys whose parents either died or are too poor to support their children. The boys at Scream Africa are happy that they have a place they can call home. AFA support for these boys started in 2010, when it became apparent that there was a need to establish the home to provide support to at least some of the many young children living in the streets with no future.
Our monthly support includes financial support for purchasing food and supporting the informal education of the boys before they are integrated into local schools.
Located in Nairobi-Embakasi, Scream Africa provides a home to more than fifty boys and also comprises a basic school and a high school (Scream Vijito School). Together with other organizations and volunteer groups, AFA provides monthly financial support for food and the management of the orphanage, and supports the high-school education of some of the boys from this centre.
