We are glad to share with you the joy of having our project running in Kenya for ten years. The idea of establishing a charity project in Kenya was conceived in 2008. A year later, on 26 June 2009, we launched the project in Dejvice, Prague. We started by supporting the education of a few students in high school and then opened an IT centre on 29 May 2010 in Nairobi. Since then we have incorporated support for the Scream Africa orphanage and the Vijito primary and secondary school, and we have ensured continuous training of youth from the slums of Nairobi at our IT Centre.
This year, Africa for Africa celebrated a big milestone, having supported 432 youths through education and IT. We are grateful to each person who has made this big dream possible. Offering a hand of support to the disadvantaged has been our joy, and you have helped us to achieve it.
We share with you some moments of another graduation ceremony from the IT centre — the 9th graduation ceremony of IT students. This year a total of 42 students successfully completed IT training and were awarded certificates. We thank you once again for being with us on this journey of success and for your continuous support of our programs.
